Less than two weeks from now I will be in Montana (never been) for Level II (never been) teacher training with Baron Baptiste. Yoga Day USA, created by the Yoga Alliance, is on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009. Yogis of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate in this annual event. Where? Writing from the Heart
Even though I never enjoyed writing, I started this yoga blog as a fun way to communicate with my students. Of course I wondered, would people read it? What would I write on a regular basis? Daily Vacation
Who doesn’t need a mini-vacation everyday? Or better question, who doesn’t want a daily break from life? Remember McDonald’s slogan…”you deserve a break today”. Well, it’s true! Vacations are healthy. I personally believe a real vacation needs to be a minimum one week as it takes the first few days to unwind and let go. Shine Like the Mountains
I just returned from a good week of skiing in CO. In between the slopes, I found time to unroll my yoga mat as well as sip a few cups of tea at the local coffee house. Fortunately, a beautiful day of sun granted me the luxury to sit outside the café, sip tea and stare at the mountains surrounding the town of Telluride.
